I have lived in the Waskom area for about 35 years so many of you know who I am. Some may also know that back pain has been a part of my life. My wife and daughter had been going to Ms. Rebecca for several months. I thought that they were going because some one would rub their back, talk to them and listen to stories of their discomfort.

My upper back had been hurting me quite a bit over the past 4 or 5 months. Between the two of them they talked me into going for a massage. My thinking, this is silly. I have been to chiropractor since my early 20's. and over the past 2 or 3 years doctors have had me in physical therapy off and on.

I went to Ms. Rebecca in the afternoon in early May for the first time. Doctors and nurses always ask what your pain level is on a scale from 1 to 10. My pain was at least a "5". Ms. Rebecca spent about 45 minutes working on my upper back in her massage chair. I walked out with a pain level at about 1.5. I have never got that quick of a result even when the doctor gave me a steroid shot. And I didn't have to have the steroid medicine in my body.

I have been back twice with good results. Go give the chair massage a try.
